# How long is the commute from DUMBO to Manhattan?

DUMBO has one of the shortest commutes in Brooklyn thanks to its position right next to the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. A 5-minute drive puts you in the heart of Manhattan. The East River Ferry connects directly to downtown Manhattan. CitiBike kiosks are plentiful for cycling across the bridges. Subway-wise, the F train, the 2 and 3 trains, and the A and C trains all serve DUMBO with quick access to Manhattan. Walking to Lower Manhattan via the Brooklyn Bridge takes about 15 minutes.
