Is Cypress Hills in Brooklyn or Queens?

Cypress Hills is in Brooklyn, though it sits right on the Queens border, which is the source of frequent confusion. It occupies the far northeastern corner of the borough, next to the large Cypress Hills cemeteries that give it its name, bordered by East New York to the south and Woodhaven, Queens to the east. Despite its position at the edge of Brooklyn, Cypress Hills is firmly a Brooklyn neighborhood, served by the J, Z, C, and L subway lines.
