Is Marine Park safe?

Marine Park is widely considered one of the safest, quietest neighborhoods in Brooklyn. A residential, family-oriented area in the southeastern part of the borough centered on its namesake park, it has low crime, tidy streets of single- and two-family homes, and a strong, settled community feel.
