Is Vinegar Hill safe?

Vinegar Hill is generally considered a safe, quiet neighborhood, a tiny, tucked-away historic enclave beside DUMBO in northwestern Brooklyn. Its cobblestone streets and small scale give it a peaceful, residential feel, and it benefits from proximity to the well-trafficked, affluent DUMBO area and the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
