Where is Bergen Beach in Brooklyn?

Bergen Beach is a small neighborhood in southeastern Brooklyn, on a low peninsula along Jamaica Bay, bordered by Mill Basin to the west, Marine Park to the north, and Canarsie to the east. It is one of the borough's more remote, waterfront-adjacent residential areas, with no subway service and reliance on buses and cars to reach the rest of the city. Its quiet, out-of-the-way location is a large part of its calm, suburban character.
